Research & clinical interests
My research centers on the gene-brain-behavior pathways evident in childhood psychiatric disorder and translation of this work into improving treatments for these conditions. The focus of my work is in two major areas: 1) identifying the genetic and neural mechanisms underlying cognitive deficits in neurodevelopmental disorders and 2) investigating the utility of neurophysiologically based measures as biomarkers of treatment response in pediatric emotional and behavioral disorders such as Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Chronic Tic Disorders, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders; and 3) investigating noninvasive neuromodulation treatments for pediatric psychiatric disorders.
