Research & clinical interests

Dr. Schneider is an Assistant Professor in the UCLA Semel Institute’s Division of Child and Adolescent psychiatry, and he is a diverse clinician with a foundation in bioethics and modern educational techniques. Dr. Schneider is the Medical Director of the Achievement Behavior Cognition (ABC) Day Treatment Program in the UCLA Resnick-Neuropsychiatric Hospital, a day treatment program for school-age children with a range of developmental, social, cognitive, and emotional disorders. In addition, he is the associate director of the Child and Adult Neurodevelopmental Clinic. In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Schneider serves on the Neuropsychiatric Hospital’s ethics committee.
